MISSION

The General Clinical Research Centers (GCRCs) are a national network of approximately 90 centers usually located in units within hospitals of academic medical centers. SCOPE OF SERVICE

UCI's GCRC provides investigators with high quality research nursing support, dietary expertise and meals prepared at our new metabolic kitchen, examination space, specialized core facilities and services, as well as some support of hospital ancillary services, such as payment of laboratory tests and technical fees for radiological services. In addition to patient care services for research protocols, we offer biostatistical consultation as well as data management expertise.
