Mission Statement

UCI's GCRC nursing staff is made up of experienced and dedicated nurses who are specifically trained in assisting the research team to implement and carry out approved research protocols, while providing research participants with the highest standards in quality of care consistent with UCI Medical Center.

Nursing Responsibilities

Our Nurse Manager is responsible for staffing, scheduling and implementing the research protocols at the outpatient unit. She works closely with the PI and research team to plan and implement the patient care aspects of every protocol. In addition, she is available, as are all staff members, to assist investigators in planning the research protocol. It is highly recommended that the lead researcher consult with the nurse manager during the developmental stage of any protocol requiring GCRC nursing resources.
