About Us
- The Pediatric Exercise Reserach Center(PERC) was established in 2006 under the leadership of
Dan M. Cooper, MD. The goal of the center is to expand the conduct of interdisciplinary clinical
and basic science research and research training in pediatric exercise science.
- Mission Statement
- To advance pediatric exercise medicine through clinical and laboratory research
- To provide an exercise plan for infant, child and young adult
- To provide preventive and rehabilitative exercise programs
- To promote and foster community partnerships to encourage physical activity in children
